Reclaimed western white pine front - a wood I've used many times previously with lovely results. So a C19th chest of drawers destined for scrap lives to sing.
Back and sides from maple from figured maple bought initially in 1982!
Violin should be ready in May 2026. Unusually, it's one I'm making on spec. alongside an order.
